Heard on the Web: To Stay Relevant, Community Funds Must Adapt to a Radically Changed World
The role of the Community Foundation continues to shift as more and varied types of giving opportunities present themselves to donors. How do Community Foundations stay relevant amidst the new giving "noise" that donors are confronted with? Or, do Community Foundations slowly fade from relevance? The story will continue to unfold over the next few years. This is not only critical to Community Foundations, but to all nonprofits that are interested in where technology, donors, and the future is headed. We believe this initiative by Deloitte Consulting is critical to the future of philanthropy. Read between the lines. There is room for everyone. Read, learn, embrace, grow. As advisors, many of our clients are interested in where they live.
